Whether it's exploring the intricate network of jungle trails or taking a boat journey along the winding rivers, each activity is designed to foster an appreciation for the region's ecological complexity.
Go on a walk along one of the trails stretching approximately 7.3 kilometres (4.5 miles) within the Inkaterra Reserva Amazónica Natural Reserve, and you'll unveil the incredible realm of the Amazon rainforest. These trails serve as an excellent introduction to the jungle ecosystem, allowing you to pass by exotic rainforest trees like the kapok tree (Ceiba pentandra) and the beautiful ironwood tree. Take a moment to look down and spot the tiny lizards rustling the leaves as they dart about on the forest floor.
