Unique Activities
Enjoy a Cultural Walk Near the Camp
A cultural walk is a brief foot tour of various cultural sites within the local community. As you walk around the areas near the camp, you’ll get the chance to meet local people and engage in cross-cultural interactions.
The cultural walk takes place in Talek Town and is guided by experienced Maasai Guides. Talek is located just outside the Maasai Mara Reserve and provides you with a unique opportunity to learn about the rich cultural heritage of the Maasai people and understand the challenges they face.
The tour lasts approximately one to two hours. You'll start with a tour around Talek Primary School, then proceed to the Talek Health Center, concluding your cultural tour with a visit to the waste management area. This is an ideal trip if you want to understand not only the wildlife but also the culture and the wonderful people of the Maasai Mara.
