Tour Highlights!
It’s enigmatic , full of mystery and its a raw crystal in a place where humanity keeps a great secret to reveal. The pyramid represents the religious, economic and social power of one of the first ceremonial cities in America and it is believed that its ancient inhabitants mysteriously left the place approximately 2 thousand years ago.
El Mirador is the site where it was created the first political state of all the Americas, the first superhighway of the world, and the impressive Temple of La Danta; considered the biggest pyramid in Earth’s volume (more giant than Giza, Egypt). It is extremely interesting to try to decode and interpret what was written in stone by the Mayans. The frieze here represents the twin heroes of the Popol Vuh (the sacred Mayan bible) and it is built around 300 years before Christ with limestone and stucco.
Just by being here, at this place, we can try to understand how the ancient Mayans were so deeply connected with nature and the cosmos, since at nightfall the stellar mantle and the stars really seem to be much closer, they look so clear and full of life.
It's fundamental to travel with great intentions and higher purposes for this transformational journey, with your heart and mind open, and be receptive to all the lessons and secrets that these sacred lands have for you.
When walking through the jungle, we had the opportunity to witness several jaguar footprints. We could not see the jaguar, but we could feel it and even smell it. I'll never forget that penetrating and strong smell that remains impregnated in the jungle and now in my subconscious, a totally new smell for me.
I am extremely grateful to life and to the beautiful people who make this wonderful experience a reality. From the people back in the offices, to people in the real action.
This transformational, active and rewarding journey is a very complete one, and there's definitely something for everyone. Personally, I love the contact with the wild nature in powerful energetic places, and on this trip I got it.
Exploring the Mayan jungle during the day is one thing and doing it at night is totally another. Everything changes in the jungle when the night falls, starting with the visibility of your surroundings, the weather, the sounds of mother nature and the energies of the sacred site.
