Everest - A Transformative Journey of Reconnection, Nepal
Connecting Spaces
Everest is the world's highest peak, a mountain of global significance. For many it symbolizes performance, endurance, perseverance - and it is the number one must-see destination on their bucket-list. But Everest is also Chomolungma, the «Holy Mother» Goddess in the local Sherpa belief.
The space she holds is a tremendously powerful sanctuary of global relevance and spiritual significance.
Unlike most of the treks to Everest whose number one aim is to reach Basecamp, this journey invites you to sense, feel and tap into the transformative energy of this space. It is a different kind of travel experience, a journey of reconnection. As you connect to the unique power of this space, you reconnect to the depths within you. Our aim is for you to dive deep while climbing high. To find meaning, understanding and orientation at the place you stand in your life. To discover answers to your life's relevant questions, and find ways to live your life more fully and truly.
Be ready to experience moments of awe, understanding, and beautiful openings as you immerse yourself into the flow of the journey - a modern-day pilgrimage of reconnection.
Your individual journey of transformation at the same time supports collective transformation: By recognising the beauty and sacredness of this extraordinary himalayan space, we reinstate appreciation of its global significance as sanctuary of natural power and regenerative value.

Tour Highlights!
At these high altitudes, the air is crystal-clear, transparent, almost translucent. As if you are moving, sitting, meditating in the midst of an immense rock crystal.Overjoyed to see her again, under a brilliantly clear blue sky. Beautified by a fresh layer of snow. My first glimpse only a few days into the start of my journey. I will lose sight of her again as I hike further up and into the high valley, moving gradually towards that anticipated sunrise moment on top of Gokyo Ri.
The high air of the Himalayas touches my breath as I exit the aircraft in Lukla. And my soul takes off to merge with the skies. Feeling home. Eternally arrived. I am off to explore the remote pockets of the Everest region in low season.
«Waste to Art is the way for us to showcase that something beautiful is hidden inside the material we throw away. Through this visual representation, we wish to change the perception around waste.»
Lazing around. Watching the clouds roll by. Looking out for signs of a snow leopard on the steep rock face opposite me. Soaking in the warm sun. Drinking in the peace of this moment. The sound of rushing turbulent glacial waters below my rocky outcrop tell stories of high altitudes. Resting. Timing out. Letting go.
I leave my Lumde camp with a day pack and lunch, to head further up this remote valley. This was the ancient trade route to Tibet - and also one of the important escape routes from Tibet into Nepal during the Cultural Revolution.
I am enjoying a solitary early morning uphill hike in majestic landscape. The surprise awaits me just before the pass: A large lake of utter calm and depth – inviting me to come, sit and take in what it is it wishes to tell me. It is a moment when time & space stands still.
The physical challenges on this journey will encourage you to grow beyond your boundaries. To challenge and transform your inner beliefs, your limiting status-quo. Experience yourself crossing that physical boundary. What lies there for you beyond that perceived comfort zone?
What fascinates me most about the Sherpa People is their life joy. The way they will sing while working, laugh while spending time together, a smile on their face as they pass you by. It is deeply inspirational to witness their generosity, the way they are connected to their lands and its spirits.
